The documentary movie project They Called Him Mr B is funded by donations and out of my own earnings.
If you wish to donate in order to make this project possible, please send me a note via the Contact page on this website. Pay Pal is the easiest way for me accept donations. If you wish to send donations by some other means, please let me know and we will work out what can be done.
Mrs Merle M. Gottschalk
Merle Gottschalk is the youngest of her generation of siblings in the Bell family and is the sole survivor. Her older siblings are the late Harold Bell and the late Brian Bell.
Merle earns a living running her own own home-based small business hand-making assistive equipment and home modifications to enable other aged and disabled people achieve independent living. Her many generous, long-term donations to the They Called Him Mr B project come from that small, limited income.
Sir Brian Bell CSM, KBE, CStJ
Not long before his final illness, Sir Brian aka Mr B arranged the disbursement of private funds to members of his extended family as a form of thank you for supporting his success in the commercial and philanthropic worlds over many decades.
Sir Brian made a special request that Karin Gottschalk’s media and charity work be financially underwritten through this financial distribution and this enormous kindness allowed Karin to begin the process of modernizing obsolete media production hardware and software, and to help set up a new health and human rights charity. A trained pharmacist, Sir Brian Bell understood the daily challenges of being born with natural, biological variations that attract exclusion and discrimination.
Sir Brian’s sister, Merle Gottschalk, took over financially supporting her brother’s special request after he died and continues to do so as far as her means permit.
